A human rights attorney and founder of MuslimGuy.com has responded to CNN’s Don Lemon’s much ridiculed question asking him if he supported ISIS, reports Salon.
Arsalan Iftikhar who has been a regular contributor to NPR went on CNN after the recent Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris.
Iftikhar had already condemned the killings which he described as “crimes against humanity.” Iftikhar had also said he didn’t have any problems with the satirical coverage of Islam in Charlie Hebdo.
Iftikhar in the Islamic Monthly compared Lemon’s question to the “moral equivalent of asking a white person “Do you support the Ku Klux Klan?”
“After nearly 15 years of journalism and thousands of media interviews, I can honestly say that I have never become more “famous” than after this latest Don Lemon gaffe. It is a sincere honor to be added to the litany of famous “Malaysian-black-hole-penis-biting” Don Lemon media gaffes which can be added to his audition tape for his next job at FOX News Channel.
“So from the bottom of my heart, I want to publicly thank Don Lemon for making me famous with his patently offensive racist dumb-ass question.”
