If you’re reading this, the odds are you’re on Facebook, reports the Social Times.
A report from IPSOS MediaCT found more than four out of ten Asian Americans access cultural content they’re less likely to get elsewhere on Facebook and nearly four out of ten share links to news on Facebook.
About the same number of Asian Americans communicate in an Asian language at least half the time on the social media network.
Its been well documented that Asian Americans spend more time on social media. The report revealed that on average Asian Americans spend 19.1 hours per week online. That’s 0.8 percent more than the US average.
The report had several recommendations for marketers hoping to reach the Asian American demographic which boasts a buying power of $700 billion in 2013.
