NY Times: Michelle Kwan Joins Clinton Campaign

Michelle KwanOlympic figure skater and former U.S. champion Michelle Kwan has joined Hillary Clinton’s campaign for president, reports the NY Times.

She’ll work with the staff at its Brooklyn headquarters and focus on voter outreach efforts.

Kwan is lending her name to the campaign just days before Saturday’s kickoff rally.

Her job will be engaging voters on issues that will connect Mrs. Clinton to working families.

Kwan worked at the State Department when Clinton was Secretary of State.

Her husband Clay Pell ran unsuccessfully for the 2014 Democratic nomination for governor in Rhode Island.
