Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Dallas Mavericks are talking with the Los Angeles Lakers about a possible sign and trade deal for Jeremy Lin.
According to Rant Sports, such a deal would make sense.
The Mavs just lost point guard Rajon Rondo to the Sacramento Kings in free agency. The deal would also reunite Lin with one of his best friends and court mates, Chandler Parsons. The two had great success together in Houston, so much so that the running joke was that the two had a bromance.
Besides that, Lin would be a great pairing with Dirk Nowitzki who could kick out for the jumper while Lin drives to the lane in the pick and roll.
There have been a ridiculous amount of rumors about where Lin could end up next season, but this one seems legit.
