Tony Hsieh, the founder of the online shoe retailer Zappos, is full of contradictions.
He’s the top dog, yet he’s gotten rid of bosses in his company .
Examiner.com now reports the multi-millionaire reportedly worth $84 million dollars lives in a trailer park?
Why?
For one thing, he owns it.
Still, he could practically live anywhere in the world? Why a trailer park?
It’s not like his trailer is anything more special than everyone elses. Hsieh reportedly lives in the same type of trailer as all his neighbors.
Hsieh, you see, is all about community. He set up his Zappos campus in Las Vegas in a way that increases the likelihood that people will run into and hopefully interact with others. His idea is to build community.
He’s risked his reputation on the project, pouring millions into it.
Still, why a trailer park?
The Examiner has its own theory, and you can read it in Examiner.com.
