The season premiere of Fresh Off the Boat, the first network television show about an Asian American family to last more than a single season, debuts Tuesday September 22 at a new time slot, 8:30 p.m.
ABC this week released a promo for the season premiere. It seems the Huangs will be going on a family vacation. Jessica maintains her tight grip on the family and Louis worries about the high cost of his hotel bill.

This season, Fresh Off the Boat will follow a new updated version of The Muppets. It’s great that ABC is integrating Fresh Off the Boat with a show that sure to attract many families with young children.
Fresh Off the Boat has been popular with the 12-18 crowd. The young ones apparently are finding Eddie’s adventures at school very relatable.
ABC no doubt hopes The Muppets will bring Fresh Off the Boat some new viewers.
