As we reported earlier this week, Jeremy Lin will make his television acting debut on Fresh Off the Boat this coming Tuesday on ABC.
ABC has released the behind the scenes photos of Lin’s shoot.
In the episode titled The Fall Ball, Louis (Randall Park) is as nervous as Eddie (Hudson Yang) about his first school dance. Dad does what he can to make that dance as perfect as a John Hughes film.
Judging from the photos, Louis and Lin appear in a flash back scene in a factory. The two get into an argument about the merit of Hughes hit, Pretty in Pink.
Some have pointed out that Pretty in Pink came out in the 80’s, but Fresh Off the Boat is set in the 90s, but the producers got around that by making this scene a flash back.
Lin is in China for a series of exhibition games with his new team, the Charlotte Hornets, but the point guard found time to tweet out this reminder to his fans.

Fans of Grandma Huang (Lucille Soong) will be happy to know she has a few scenes in Tuesday’s episode. Jessica (Constance Wu) tries to get on Grandma’s good side to convince her to invest in an upcoming business venture.
Fresh Off the Boat airs Tuesday night’s on ABC at 8:30/7:30c.
