Mega star Bruno Mars has signed on to produce a new comedy about a family musical group for NBC.
Contact Music reports Brian Grazer who executive produces the hit Empire is also on board with the project.
The story will center around a “loud, boisterous” family band from the Bronx. Mars three sisters, coincidentally, make up the girl group, The Lylas.
The show is not yet titled and there is no premiere date. The Indian Express reports that Mar’s music will likely work its way into the show.
