Perhaps playing his best game of the season, Jeremy Lin scored a team high 24 points to lead the Charlotte Hornets over the Cleveland Cavaliers 106 – 97, reports the Charlotte Observer.
Lin stepped into the starting line up for the injured Kemba Walker and outscored Lebron James by one pointer.
He added eight assists on 7 for 13 shooting.
Lin’s fadeaway jumper with two minutes left stemmed off a Cavalier comeback sparked by two Lebron James dunks and a Kevin Love three pointed.
“He wants the ball at the end of the game. If you’ve watched his career, he like to take the big shots,” said Steve Clifford.
