Kissing and making up can be hard to do, but when you mix it in with a little laughter, it makes it a whole lot easier.
Last night Margaret Cho, with the help of fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld, returned to the Stress Factory in New Brunswick, NJ where just three weeks ago an angry crowd walked out on her show during a routine which included gay jokes and stories about rape and Whites.
APP.com reports Cho’s do-over went well.
“I’m grateful that you’re here and I think I figured out what happened,” Cho told the audience. “I think I cut my hair too shirt. I thought I was going to a Mia Farrow, Michelle Williams feeling but it now it’s just Chang from Orange is the New Black.”
The crowd that walked out angrily was invited back for a free performance. If that wasn’t enough, Seinfeld opened for Cho for good measure.
After the show, Seinfeld and Cho filmed a segment together for Jerry’s web series, Comedians in Cars getting Coffee.
