An elderly Asian American man from Queens has died after being punched in the face following a fender bender in what police suspect was a fit of road rage, reports the New York Daily News.
Chun Man Tse, 68, had been in a coma since the July 22 incident in Flushing before dying Saturday. On Monday, the coroner declared Tse’s death a homicide.

Police are considering charging suspect Cleamon Anderson, 44, with murder.
Senior citizens at the Self Help Innovative Senior Center in Flushing were both stunned and angry about the death of a man who volunteered at the Center.
“He repaired our kitchen equipment. He repaired our ping pong table. He helped us… The seniors are angry, scared and upset,” said Jinsheng Jane Qiu, the center’s program director.

RE: Elderly man dies in road rage attack: Hopefully the Asian American community in NYC will come out and support his family and the prosecution of his killer.
re: Elderly man dies in road rage attack: This attack is considered to be “senseless” and one of “road rage”. But when I read the account of the interaction between Cleamon Anderson and Chun Man Tse, I seems as if Cleamon and his sister were trying prevent his identification information from being recorded or photographed, while Chun Man Tse was trying to obtain this information for legal or insurance purposes. I wonder if Cleamon had something to hide (such as outstanding warrants or arrests). And therefore he hit Chun Man Tse – this would be neither senseless nor road rage.
