Tom Shen Health voluntarily recalled Life Rising DHZC-2 tablets after the Food & Drug Administration found high lead levels in the product.
There has been at least one case of high lead levels found in a child and two deaths of people who took the product.
Another child with high lead levels “may have consumed” the dietary supplement.
An investigation is underway to determine if there is a link between those cases and the product.
The supplement is mostly sold online and in the Chicago area.
There has been no comment from Tom Shen Health.
