George Takei goes on day-long Twitter rant about Donald Trump

George TakeiJapanese American Star Trek actor and social activist George Takei has been extra visible lately in criticizing President Trump . He went on a day-long twitter rant blasting the president and his policies this week, reports Blasting News.

Takei included a link to a Vox article saying that the president’s friend and ally Christopher Ruddy, CEO of the conservative Newsmax brand, is urging Trump to ditch Paul Ryan’s Affordable Health Care Act. Ruddy says Trump “could inherit the bad political baggage of both Obamacare and the House Republicans” if he chooses to follow through with Ryan’s version of repealing and replacing Obamacare.

Survivor of a Japanese incarceration camp during World War II, Takei has always been very open with his opinions on political and social news through various forms of social media, with over 9 million followers on Facebook and over 2 million followers on Twitter. However, with the latest travel ban and the new budget and healthcare plans, Takei has been extra vocal on the latest political issues.

Takei has been using humor to express his opinions as well. He retweeted this on March 15:

He took to Facebook as well:

Takei definitely isn’t the only Asian American celebrity taking to Twitter when it comes to Trump.
