Explosive Device Thrown into Chinese Restaurant

Philadelphia Restaurant Explosion

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding suspects caught on surveillance video throwing an explosive device into a Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia.

It happened earlier this month at the New Dragon City Restaurant, reports Philly Voice.

In the video, the young men are seen approaching the restaurant. One appears to have the explosive in his hands. He is seen tossing it into the restaurant. At least two explosions follow.

According to Metro,  police cannot confirm what type of device was used, although some have described them as fireworks.

No injuries were reported and damage is described as minimal.

Anyone who may have information on this incident is asked to contact the police at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.
