Mindy Kaling’s show, The Mindy Project, is on its final season on Hulu. However, we have good news for her fans! Kaling will be seen across multiple platforms over the next two years.

Not only is she starring alongside Oprah and Reese Witherspoon in an Ava DuVernay movie, A Wrinkle in Time, but she will also be producing two new comedies on NBC

Kaling will continue to work with her Mindy Project team on both of her new shows. Of the two new comedies, one is still yet to be named.

According to Film School Rejects, it will center “around a group of dedicated diplomats in a small embassy in the Caribbean whose work goes askew thanks to the arrival of their new ambassador: an incompetent, ignorant oil man.”

Her second project has been officially named Venice Beach Venture. Variety reports that the show will follow “a brilliant young female engineer (who) faces an exasperating workplace and an arrogant billionaire boss at an elite venture capital firm.”

Other than these new ventures, Kaling has also been working on another NBC comedy called Champions where she is the co-creator, producer, and a recurring character.

One thing is for sure, Kaling is here to stay and certainly has the potential to represent the Asian American community well!
