A star-studded line up will headline this year’s Identity LA Festival, a celebration of Asian Pacific American culture.
In alignment with Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the event is set to take place on Saturday, May 12, from 4-10 in Downtown Los Angeles at Grand Park.
Identity LA is an annual festival that is meant to celebrate the culture and history of the Asian Pacific American community.
This year’s lineup is scheduled to include talent such as K-Pop star Jay Park and DJ duo Hotel Garuda, with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda headlining and more to be announced soon. This is set to be Shinoda’s first solo appearance since Chester Bennington’s, his bandmate, death.
Along with this initial lineup, the festival is scheduled to have an awards ceremony honoring activists and other influential figures in the APA community.
Roy Choi, the mind behind the Kogi truck, is set to curate the wide variety of food trucks that will be available at the festival.
While the initial details of this year’s festival might seem exciting, the best part about Identity LA each year is that it’s open to the public and absolutely free!
