A $5,000 reward is being offered in the stabbing of a Muslim woman in Houston, reports CW39.
The 31-year-old Muslim was driving in her red SUV when her vehicle was nearly sideswiped, according to the Dallas News.
The White woman was wearing a hijab. She got out of her car to check for damage. That’s when her assailant is believed to have made a u-turn and pulled up behind her. That man allegedly began yelling racial and religious slurs at the stunned driver.
“Oh my God, it’s a r**head,” “It’s an f***ing r**head,” “sand n*****” the attacker is accused of saying before stabbing the driver in the arm, reported KTRK.
“We hope that anyone who has information about this potentially deadly and apparently bias-motivated attack will immediately contact law enforcement authorities,” said CAIR-Houston Executive Director Mustafaa Carroll.
