All four bodies of a California family killed when their SUV swerved off the road and into the Eel River have now been recovered.
The LA Times reports the body of 38-year-old Soumya Thottapilly was pulled from the river on Friday, April 13th. Two days later,the family vehicle was discovered as well as the bodies of 41-year-old Sandeep Thattapilly and his 9-year old daughter. Sachi. On Monday afternoon, the final member of the Thottapilly family was found after a deadly car crash near the Northern California River.
According to CNN, their vehicle was found Sunday about a half mile downstream from the crash site. On April 8, relatives reported the family missing after they were expected to be in San Jose to meet another family member, two days prior.
The family is from the Southern California town of Santa Clarita. They were returning from a trip to Portland, OR.
