Sony is developing a movie based on the Korean American super hero, Silk, reports Variety.
AKA Cindy Moon first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 in 2014.
Moon is Parker’s classmate. She is also bitten by a radioactive spider and, just like Spider Man, also gains super powers.
The picture is in the early stage of development and Sony has had no comment on it.
According to Indie Wire, Silk is part of a push for diversity in the super hero genre following the blockbuster success of Wonder Woman and The Black Panther.
