Police in Kansas City are urging witnesses in the fatal shooting of a fast food worker at J’s Fish and Chicken Market to come forward, reports the Kansas City Star

The body of Sharath Koppu is expected to be flown back to India within two days.
The consolate general at the Indian consulate in Chicago has sent staff to Kansas City to help coordinate the efforts.

Koppu was shot Friday night as he tried to flee the robbery suspect.
Surveilance video has been released of the suspect.
Koppu is a 25-year-old international student at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He was studying software engineering and is from Telangana’s Warangal district, according to Scroll.
