Houston police confirmed that someone passed away onboard an EVA Air flight from Taipei to Houston, reports ABC13 News.
EVA Air said Wednesday that a Vietnamese American passenger passed out during the flight on Monday from Taiwan. The airline said the passenger showed no vital signs, even after a physician passenger attempted to revive him, reports The China Post.
Emergency medical services met the airplane upon arriving at the Bush Intercontinental Airport around 11:30 pm, after the flight of more than 14 hours. In Houston, the passenger was pronounced dead by a medical examiner.
There are no further details yet as to the cause of death.
