Nikki Haley Defends Trump After U.N. Speech

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley has come to Trump’s aid by defending what seemed like the world’s leaders laughing at Trump.

In the past, Haley has asserted that she is not afraid to disagree with Trump or anyone around him. However earlier today, Haley claimed the media has disrupted the entire story, by suggesting Trump’s brutal honesty with the U.N. is what was comical albeit, respectful. Haley told Fox & Friends, “[The U.N.] love that he’s honest with them and they’ve never seen anything like it, so there’s respect there. I saw that the media was trying to make it something disrespectful.”

During her interview, Haley seemed positive in her interpretation, saying, “I deal with these leaders every single day. I know exactly how they think. Do they love America? No. Do they respect America? Now they do.”
