The cast, according to Desiblitz, includes newcomers, such as Roshni Edwards who will voice Mira’s cousin, as well as famous actresses such as Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto and Aparna Nancherla from Master of None. Leela Ladnier will voice the titular character, Mira. Ladnier has appeared in Boris and the Bomb and Touch. Considering that Ladnier also sings, viewers can probably look forward to a musically-endowed kid detective.
“We hope that she will encourage our audience to actively engage with the inspiring world around them and appreciate the little details that make life extraordinary,” Disney Junior vice president Joe D’Ambrosia told Entertainment Weekly.
