Yeun will voice the character Mark Grayson, a 17-year-old who discovers his father is a powerful superhero and develops powers of his own, learning more about his father’s legacy. It will be eight episodes, each an hour long and will premiere in 2020 on Amazon according to Hollywoodreporter.com.
The star-studded roster includes Sandra Oh, Seth Rogan, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, Mae Whitman, Chris Diamantopoulos, Andrew Rannells, Melise, Kevin Michael Richardson, Grey Griffin, and Max Burkholder.
The animated series comes after the comic book ended its run in February 2018. Kirkman said of the series, “To know our characters will live on in multiple iterations in other media is almost too exciting to bear! What Amazon is allowing us to do in animated form is nothing short of ground-breaking, and I can’t wait for our rabid fan base to experience it!”
