The seventh installment in The Conjuring series of films is due out June 26.
Conjuring universe creator James Wan returns to produce Anabelle Comes Home. It’s the third in the Annabelle series and part of the Conjuring series which also includes The Conjuring, Annabelle and The Nun.
Demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren lock the possessed doll Anabelle in a room in their home. The doll is placed behind sacred glass after a holy blessing from a priest. Anabelle manages to escape and sets her sights on Warren’s ten-year-old daughter Judy and her friends.
The film stars Mckenna Grace (TV’s The Haunting of Hill House, Gifted, and Captain Marvel) as Judy; Madison Iseman (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween) as her babysitter, Mary Ellen; and Katie Sarife (TV’s Youth and Consequences and Supernatural) as troubled friend Daniela; with Patrick Wilson (Aquaman, The Conjuring and Insidious films) and Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring films, upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters, TV’s Bates Motel) reprising their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren.
