Known for her work on the television show The Good Place, Jamil has spoken about the subject body positivity and the controversy of weight loss products before.

In a recent tweet, she called such products “irresponsible f*cksh*t.”

The Good Place actress has also called out Cardi B and members of the Kardashian family for similar product endorsements, Parade reports.

She also runs an Instagram account called “@i_weigh” that promotes body positivity.

One nutritionist Parade interviewed suggested there are better alternatives to these products endorsed by many celebrities.

“Eat a clean diet, full of organic produce, lean protein and healthy fats,” said Krystal Hammett. “Drink your yummy DIY detox water—infused with something like pineapple ginger and basil—and take a high-quality multi-vitamin to ensure you and your little one are getting the micro-nutrients needed to thrive.”

Fans can see Jamil in the fourth and final season of The Good Place in September.
