Michelle Wie Joins CBS Sports as Golf Analyst

Michelle Wie will join CBS Sports as a golf analyst heading into 2020, KHON2 News reports.

The five-time LPGA tour winner previously appeared as a guest analyst for Golf Channel’s 2019 Solheim Cup coverage. Wie was unable to participate in the Solheim Cup due to a nagging wrist injury. While her presence was missed on the golf course, Wie’s performance as a guest analyst drew rave reviews, according to Golf.com.

The specifics of Wie’s role with the network are unclear. According to Golf Digest, a statement said that Wie “will contribute to CBS Sports’ multimedia golf coverage this season, including the Masters.”

Wie announced that she would be working with CBS on her Instagram account.
