Police in St. Paul, MN have arrested three teens accused in the kicking of an elderly Asian woman in the face, reports Fox9 News.
The incident first came to their attention after seeing it on a widely seen post on Instagram.
According to the Star Tribune, another teen appeared to dare the other to attack the woman.
A witness who saw the attack approached the teen letting him know he would call the police.
“He is scared for his safety and begged me to not report him to the cops. Also begged to take down the post, Zong Winchester told The Sun.
Police said they received several calls about the incident.
“To say this is uncalled for is such a huge understatement,” said Metro Transit spokesperson Howie Padilla. “It really is,” Padilla told Fox9 News.
No trains were running at the time of the attack so police are wondering why the woman and teen were on the platform.
