Ruthie Ann Miles and her husband Jonathan Blumenstein announced the birth of her daughter Elizabeth this weekend, reports NBC New York.
The blessed event followed a tradition of three generations of April babies in her family.
It was just two years ago, when a car struck the Tony winner and her daughter Abigail, 4, while they were crossing a New York street. The accident took the life of Abigail and her unborn baby who would have been born the following month.
Back in March, Miles announced her pregnancy saying “We know Abigail Joy and Sophia would have loved being big sisters & are loving watching their family grow,” according to Distractify.
In 2015, Miles won the Tony for the Best Featured Actress Award in a musical for her performance in The King & I revival. That same year she was also recognized with the Outer Critics Circle Award for the same role as Lady Thiang.
