A strip club in Canoga Park near Los Angeles used a billboard to express it’s anger at China.
The advertisement features a woman wearing a facemask with the word “China” next to a frowning emoji.
Just in case you didn’t get the message, the club took to Facebook with an even blunter message: f*ck China.

The club has gotten in trouble in the past.
Last September, armed officers with high powered rifles entered the club to serve a search warrant as part of a narcotics investigation, according to ABC7.
At least one person was taken into custody from the club as a result of the investigation.
It’s rare for politics to enter popular culture which may be an indication of the rising backlash against China in the U.S. The anger has been encouraged by the GOP which has used it as a political strategy in the upcoming 2020 election. Critics say President Trump and the Republicans hope to divert attention away from the President, who at the beginning of the pandemic, praised China’s response to the coronavirus and assured Americans everything was under control.
Asian Americans fear the rise in xenophobia against them will only increase as a result.
