Season 2 of Warrior returns in October on Cinemax.
The series based on the writings of Bruce Lee follows Ah Samn (Andrew Koji) who becomes the hatchet man for one of Chinatown’s most powerful tongs, the Hop Wei.
According to Nation Editions, In Season 2 Samn fights for dominance against rising anti-Chinese elements. He’ll also have to contend with police who move to shut down the brothels and gambling halls.
Screenrant says Samn will also have to navigate the tricky politics of Chinatown. He’ll also reconnect with his sister, Xiaojing, who has her own problems to deal with. As played by Dianne Doan, it’s was revealed in season 1 that she is the wife of a tong leader.
Warriors is executive produced by Bruce Lee’s daughter Shannon Lee , along with Justin Lin of Fast and Furious, Tokyo Drift and Star Trek Beyond Fame and Jonathan Tropper of Banshee.
