Several days after declaring that she wanted to be emancipated from her parents, Claudia Conway applauded the announcement that her mother would be leaving the White House and her father would withdrawal from the Lincoln Project.
“Look at what I did, look what I did,” Claudia Conway repeated on TikTok as she pointed to her father’s announcement that he would leave the Lincoln Project.
The daughter of Kellyanne Conway, an adviser for President Trump, who also resigned her position, had publicly stated earlier that her parent’s politics was making her life miserable.
Her father George had once been considered by Trump to be nominated for US Solicitor General, but has since become a vocal critic of the President.
The 15-year-old first expressed a desire to divorce her parents after it became known her mother would speak the the GOP Convention this week. She said she disagreed with the politics of both her parents.
Her mother’s resignation from the White House is effective at the end of this month. There had been some speculation she would withdrawal as a speaker at the convention, but made her appearance as scheduled Wednesday.
She praised the President saying he has “elevated women to senior positions in business and in government.” She declared he is the “man I know and the president we need.”
