ESPN reporter gets push back for talking about race

ESPN sports reporter and podcaster Mina Kimes talks about the negative fan backlash when she reports on race in the sports world.

Appearing on The Carlos Watson Show, Kimes said her “phone lights up when she discusses racial inequality rather than “sticking to sports.”

You can watch an exclusive clip of Watson’s interview with Kimes below.

Watson is an Emmy-award winning journalist and OZY co-founder. The show had over 1 million viewers its first week, and is the “fastest growing YouTube show ever” according to Good Morning America.

The full episode airs tomorrow at 1 p.m. Eastern on YouTube. New episodes post daily Monday-Friday on YouTube.
