Dancing with the Stars judge and The Talk co-host Carrie Ann Inaba announced on Instagram that she tested positive for COVID-19.
Looking tired and speaking while on her back, Inaba says she’s home and following guidelines.
“I have a fever, bad cough and lots of aches and pains,” she said. “I want to remind you to stay vigilant because I’m following all the protocols in place and even then I caught it. Just a friendly reminder to take care of yourself, wear your mask and wash your hands a lot and just be extra extra careful.”
According to Rafu Shimpo, Inaba has numerous chronic illnesses including lupus, jögren’s syndrome, fibromyalgia, and iron deficiency anemia.
This season’s Dancing with the Stars wrapped up November 23. It’s not known when and where Inaba became infected with COVID.
Numerous celebrities have expressed their concern for Inaba since her announcement, reported USA Today.
“Sending you love and healing energy!” wrote Entertainment Tonight host Nischelle Turner.
“Hope you’re feeling OK!” wrote former “Talk” co-host Julie Chen Moonves. “Get well soon!”
“Sending you lots of love and healing vibes!” said Edyta Sliwinska, a DWTS dance pro alum.
