Police in New York Saturday released surveillance video of a brutal beating of a man in Manhattan Chinatown.
Authorities tell AsAmNews the incident happened Friday morning at about 1130 near Canal and Allen Street.
The video shows one dozen people following a 26-year-old-man down the street and then attacking him.
The assailants removed his cell phone, pants, underwear and shoes.
The man suffered lacerations to his head, torso and hands. It is not clear what they used to cut him, but police described the object as sharp. An ambulance took the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue where he is listed in stable condition.
Witnesses saw the suspects escape in multiple vehicles.
