AsAmNews is excited to get up close (virtually) and personal with actor, Perry Yung on our live fan Zoom chat, Saturday at 7:30pm EST. You know him as “Father Jun” on HBO Max’s tv drama, “Warrior.”
“Warrior” is a television drama based on a concept by Bruce Lee, and set in San Francisco’s Chinatown during the 1880’s. It’s produced by Lee’s daughter Shannon and directed by Justin Lin and Jonathan Trooper.
The show is centered around the Tong Wars, a series of violent disputes between rival Chinese Tong factions in Chinatowns throughout America. It includes great martial arts that will leave you wanting to know whose butt got kicked the most in each episode.
Get started on your Warrior binge-watching if you’re not caught up yet, then register for our fan Zoom with Yung. Fans will have an opportunity to ask questions. There is a limited availability of attendees to maintain a good fan experience. We are currently at 50 percent capacity.
The Zoom wil be moderated by staff writer, Shirley L. Ng.
AsAmNews has Asian America in its heart. We’re an all-volunteer effort of dedicated staff and interns. Check out our new Instagram account. Go to our Twitter feed and Facebook page for more content. Please consider interning, joining our staff, or making a financial contribution to support us.
Where do we sign up for the Zoom? I don’t see a link.
Thank you,
Andy Au
