The stars still managed to shine Sunday on the Red Carpet despite COVID-19 protocols.

The glitz and glamour moved from the Dolby Theatre to Union Station not too far from Little Toyko in Los Angeles.

How appropriate given the large number of Asian and Asian American nominees.

Chloe Zhao goes in as the favorite for Best Director after sweeping the category in the Golden Globes, British Academy Film Awards and the Director Guild Awards for her work on Nomadland. Lee Isaac Chung of hopes to pull off the upset for Minari.

Yuh-Jung Youn, the grandmother and seasoned actress from South Korea is up for a Best Supporting Actress Award for Minari and Steven Yeun has a shot at the Best Actor Award for the same movie.

Both Nomadland and Minari are also in line for Best Picture.
