Metro Police in Washington, DC today release video of two women who allegedly stole $10,000 worth of Gucci bags from a company store in Chinatown, reports NBC Washington.

Police say one woman acted as the lookout while the others dropped five purses into an H&M shopping bag after cutting them loose from a cable using a cutting instrument.

Authorities hope the public can help identify the women who police say stole the bags on April 17.

ABC7 reports one of the woman sprayed pepper spray into the eyes of a store employee who approached her.

A witness saw the two women escape in a black Pontiac with a tan rag-top roof.

Anyone with any information can call (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE to 50411,” police said.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.
