Korean actor Park Seo-Joon is rumored to join Brie Larson in the Captain Marvel sequel titled The Marvels, Soompi reports.
Park is a big name in the Korean entertainment industry. His most notable roles in the Korean dramas Itaewon Class and Fight for My Way. He also had a minor role as Min, the friend that gifts the Kim family a rock, in the Oscar-winning Parasite.
According to Forbes, Park’s agency, Awesome ENT, has not confirmed any of the rumors. However, if Park does star in The Marvels, it would mark the third time a Korean actor appearing in a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. The other two actors include Claudia Kim who appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ma Dong-Seok (Don Lee) who is set to appear in the upcoming The Eternals.
In response to the rumors, a many fans show excitement towards this possibilty.
The Marvels is set to be released on November 11, 2022.
