Fashion lingerie company Victoria’s Secrets announced Wednesday a new diverse line up of spokesmodels as it steps away from the thin, voluptuous Angels of the past and tries to revive its brand.
Joining the line up are actress Priyanka Chopras Jonas along with freestyle skier Eileen Gu, according to OK Magazine.
Others will include soccer star Megan Rapinoe, Brazilian transgender model Valentina Sampaio, plus-size model Paloma Elesser, and journalist Amanda de Cadenet.
Don’t expect them to be modeling underwear and bra. Instead they will be used as spokesmodels in marketing materials and podcasts.
“It’s a group of women inspiring change and positivity. It’s another step they’re taking towards transforming the brand. The entire industry thought Victoria Secret was done,” an insider told Page Six.
