One multiracial supermodel has stepped in for another.
Palestinian and Dutch fashion model Gigi Hadid will play the role of the narrator in episode 3, season 2 of Never Have I Ever on Netflix.
She replaces Thai American and Dutch model Chrissy Teigen who walked away from the gig after it became known she once cyberbullied model and reality TV personality Courtney Stodden, reported Den of Geek.
In the episode, Hadid explains why she relates to superhunk Paxton Hall-Yoshida as played by Darren Barnet, according to E News.
“I relate to this kid. We’re both constantly underestimated because people only see us as sex symbols,” Hadid says tongue and cheek.
“When scientists declare your face to be perfectly symmetrical, that’s all everyone thinks you have to offer the world,” the 26-year-old said, “but we’ve got brains, too, and feelings and—Paxton, dude, put a shirt on. I’m trying to make a point here. Anyway, we have so much more going on inside. At least that’s true for me. We’ll see what happens with Paxton.”

If you didn’t know, Darren Barnet is also multi-racial. He’s Japanese on his father’s side.
