One of four homeless men brutally murdered while sleeping on the streets of New York finally received a final burial two years later.
Community organizer Karlin Chan tweeted that a grave stone has now been placed at the burial site for Chuen Kwok .
Chan raised money for the grave marker after no family came to claim Kwok’s body.
He was one of four homeless men killed in October 2019. Chan told the New York Post that he arranged for the Celestial Love Foundation to give Kwok a burial, but the foundation could not purchase a grave stone.
Chan raised the money through a Go Fund Me campaign.
On the one year anniversary of the murder, a small group of New Yorkers held a candlelight vigil in honor of all four victims.
The group vowed that the four men would never be forgotten.
