Did you miss the F9 Fest, a large-scale, immersive media event at the Universal Back Lot in Los Angeles held Wednesday night (September 15)?
Director Justin Lin, cast members Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Vinnie Bennett and JD Pardo as well as second unit director/stunt coordinator Spiro Razatos and costume designer Sanja Hays were there. Attendees enjoyed stunt experiences such as ziplining and fight choreography. They could also pose with an F9 character and preview the F9 and Fast franchise museum.
Who doesn’t love a chance to zipline and have a good fight? Well, like you I wasn’t invited (I’m sure our invites got lost in the ether of the internet), but I did get a consolation prize: I can offer one of my readers or social media followers the F9 Director’s Cut Blu-ray. The cut is already gone digital and will be available in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on September 21.
