The Netflix original series “Squid Game” is currently #1 on the Netflix Top 10 list in the U.S. According to Korea JoongAng Daily, it is the first Korean series to do so.
The series is about 456 people playing a deadly survival game to win money.
Fans of the show have described it as a “bloody masterpiece.” Netflix believes that the show could become its most popular original series.

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said during the annual Code Conference on Monday that there is “a very good chance it’s going to be our biggest show ever,” Insider reports.
