Police in San Jose have arrested a third suspect accused of scamming a 75-year-old man out of $140,000.
KTVU reports that authorities announced the arrest of 41-year-old Phuc Huynh of Los Angeles on Friday.
The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Elder Fraud Unit accuses Huynh of being the courier of the crime.
Back in July, police arrested brothers Henry Truong, 31, and Dung Truong, 36, as co-conspirators.
CBS5 reports all three are facing felony charges of elder fraud, conspiracy, two counts of grand theft, and one count of attempted grand theft.
Details of the crime have not been released.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the San Jose Police Department at 408-277-4521.
