A 23-year-old man was shot and killed in Seattle’s Chinatown International District early Wednesday morning.
Seattle police are investigating the fatal shooting that occurred around 12:30 a.m., according to The Seattle Times.
The Seattle Police Department said the officers were called to the intersection of Fourth Avenue South and South Main Street for reports of a shooting, U.S. News reports. The officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived.
KTVZ reports that the Seattle Fire Department medics and police officers attempted lifesaving measures, but that the man died at the scene.
Witnesses said altercations between multiple people occurred before the shooting, according to the Seattle Police Department blotter post.
