Japanese Breakfast will make her Saturday Night Live debut Saturday, May 21. She is invited as the musical guest on the show’s season 47 finale, Pitchfork reports.
The night will be hosted by Russian Doll star Natasha Lyonne, who will also make a hosting debut, according to NME.
The 33-year-old artist announced her performance at the show on Twitter with the iconic SNL artwork showing the names of their guests pinned to a bulletin board.
Japanese Breakfast is an indie-pop band fronted by Michelle Zauner, Deadline reports. She released her third album Jubilee in 2021 and was nominated for two awards at the recent Grammys. The band is currently on their North American tour, Billboard reports.
