Dwayne the Rock Johnson’s daughter Simone this weekend followed her family’s long legacy into wrestling.
She made her WWE NXT debut as “The Final Girl” in Orlando on Saturday, reported The Black Enterprise.
Simone Johnson, who also goes by the name of Ava Raines, is the first fourth generational wrestler after her dad (The Rock), grandfather (Rocky Johnson) and great grandfather (High Chief Peter Maivia).
According to the Digital Spy, dad and daughter shared a video in 2020 when she announced she would be the WWE’s latest trainee.
“It was great because he got to see everyone there,” Simone said at the time. “He got to see how our culture is here, and then obviously I love spending time with him but to be able to train with him and do something I know we both love, it was great.”
Blavity reports The Final Girl brought immense energy to the arena in her debut, boldly stating she’s better than her competitors and dissing current NXT star Cora Jade.
