Police in Oakland are investigating the burglary of seven shops in a strip mall in Little Saigon on International Boulevard, reports KRON.
Investigators Wednesday asked for the public’s help in tracking down the suspects and have released photos of their vehicles.
The break-ins happened late Sunday, early Monday morning.
According to CBS San Francisco, police described the first car as a 2010s model four door white BMW with tinted windows. It has non-matching silver wheels on the driver’s side and the break light on the right side is broken. The rear plate is made of paper and there is no front plate.
The second vehicle is a silver four-door Honda with silver and grey wheels and a black license plate frame.
They describe the third car as a newer black four-door BMW with black wheels and a chrome outer ring.
“I’m just shocked, mad and sad. All the emotions,” said restaurant owner Simon Liu who said the thieves broke in through his ceiling.
KRON also reports that the surveillance video also shows burlgars passing bags of stolen money from a laundromat. One of the suspects is seen giving money to a homeless man.
Just last week, Oakland Police assigned officer Anh Nguyen as its liaison officer to Little Saigon.
