Keanu Reeves as John Wick sets out to destroy an organized crime ring known as High Table in John Wick: Chapter 4, reports People.
High Table may sound familiar to fans as it’s the same mob he took on in the third installment.
The trailer released by Lionsgate shows him in a gun and sword fight with Donnie Yen as Caine, Variety reported.
“I can tell you, I’m having a wonderful time here,” Yen told Looper. “Keanu Reeves is a wonderful soul, gentleman, best guy I’ve ever worked with, just a great guy, same as Chad(Stehelski, the director). This so far has been the best experience in the very few American movies I have ever been. And you will not be disappointed with the film, you will be wowed by the film. And hopefully you like what I’m doing, hopefully people will like me.
The trailer also introduces a new villain, Marquis, played by Bill Skarsgård who Wick needs to confront to settle his grudges with High Table
“I love a good myth,” Stahelski said to Variety. “I don’t really believe — at least for the ‘John Wick’ movies — in a three-act structure. I believe in storytelling and leaving it. You know, we’ve always seen John Wick as Odysseus. So we take the time we need to tell the story. As long as we don’t fall asleep watching it, we keep it going. But I guess there is a bathroom limit.”
